According to The Tax Foundation, Americans will work an average of four months (until April 30) before they have earned enough to pay off federal, state, and local tax obligations for 2007. That’s two days longer than in 2006.

If you’re unlucky enough to live in Connecticut, you don’t get to celebrate until May 20th.
